About Us

C.E. Peaslee & Son, Inc. was founded in 1947, when Clarence and Vera Peaslee relocated to the village of Union, New Hampshire, to establish their own funeral home. In the early 1960s, they expanded their work by acquiring the former Otis Funeral Home in Farmington. Their son Robert, along with his wife Ute, continued building on the family tradition and opened the Alton location in 1973.

In the years that followed, Robert and Ute also purchased the former Kennett Funeral Home in the Sanbornville area of Wakefield, further extending the family’s ability to support neighboring communities. Today, the Peaslee family continues to oversee all three locations—Farmington, Alton, and Wakefield—with their main office situated at 24 Central Street in Farmington. The funeral homes operate under the direction of Christine Peaslee-Radcliffe, Carl Peaslee, and Carli Peaslee, who carry forward the family’s longstanding commitment to care.
