Obituary

Therese Anne (Gibbons) Joyce, 64, of Farmington, (formerly of Rochester), the beloved wife of the late Edward Joyce, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness at her home on February 23, 2022. She was born on April 15 th , 1957, in Everett MA where she was raised and attended school. She later attended North Shore Community College in Beverly. MA

She was predeceased by her parents, Margaret Lauretta (Scribner) Gibbons and Philip Joseph Gibbons. She was the sister of Noreen Condardo and her husband Tom of Longmeadow MA, Kathleen Conti and her husband Peter of Saugus, MA, and her brother Philip "Joe" Gibbons of Lynn, MA. Sister-in-law to Denise Joyce Feudo and Gary Joyce of Florida and daughter-in-law to Nancy Joyce of Florida.

Therese "Terri" and her late husband Edward "Ed" were middle school sweethearts. They shared 29 years of marriage. She missed him every day following his passing in 2004.

She was the loving mother of Michael Joyce and his wife Cinthia of Rochester, Brian Joyce Sr of Pennsylvania, and Edward Joyce of Rochester, and the late Amy Joyce. She and Edward raised their grandson David Joyce and always considered him to be one of their own children.

She leaves behind her grandchildren Brian Joyce Jr., the late Tyler Joyce, David Joyce, Hailey Joyce, Savannah Joyce, Jayden Joyce, Donovan Joyce and was a great grandmother to Aryah Adie & Jasper Donegan. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Terri was a woman with a big heart. She loved her "Camp" in New Hampshire, Bingo, celebrating St. Patrick's Day, her vegetable garden, collecting recipes, visiting Hobby Lobby & Dollar Tree, country music, friends at the Victory Club, Patriots' football, and recently her Facebook friends and games.

She will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her.

Service Information: Relatives and friends are invited to visit and pay their respects at a Memorial Gathering at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH on Friday March 4, 2022, 10:30am – Noon, with a Service at Noon by Father Patrick Gilbert.
