Matthew M. Groover, age 50, of Silver Street in Farmington, NH, died unexpectedly, January 22, 2024, at home.

Born April 29, 1973 in Claxton, Georgia, a son of Jerry N. Groover & Carol Ann (Howard) Groover Wilds, he was raised in the South.  Matt lived in Farmington, NH the past ten years, having been a longtime resident of the New England area.

Matt was self employed as MGM Cleaning Services, a business he owned and operated with his late wife Mary (Laney) Groover, who died in 2018.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, farming and was a fan of NASCAR.  A lover of animals, he especially loved his dogs.

With Matt, "Everybody else came first".

Survived by his 2 brothers: Ernest & wife Anita Groover and Robert & wife Rose Groover, stepchildren: Jamie & husband John Sasien, Josh & wife Robin Arsenault, grandchildren: Dominick (Dom), Gabrielle (Gabby) & Angie Sasien, Ruby Arsenault and several step grandchildren, his aunt Janet Mahony & her children: Lisa Mahony Frye, Michael Mahony & their children, aunt Susan Riessle & her children: Brenda Gallagher, Karen Long, Jennifer O'Brien & their children, also several cousins, nieces, nephews and his partner Shannon Gamble.
