Zachary Dominic "Nick" Simone, Jr., age 34, of Sanctuary Lane in Alton Bay, died suddenly, January 20, 2021, at home, of natural causes.

Born April 4, 1986 in Methuen, Mass., son of Zachary Dominic Simone, Sr. and Kristine Marie (Locke) Simone, the family resided in Haverhill, Mass., until moving to Alton Bay, NH 22 years ago.

Nick was a graduate of Alton Central School's last graduating High School Class of 2004. He attended NHTI and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Southern NH University.  He also attended Job Corps in Maine.

He enjoyed farming, literature, especially enjoyed reading and spending time with his niece Alexia. They enjoyed talking about foreign languages and video games together. Alexia brought much joy to Zachary, as did Zachary for her. Alexia would like to share her special memories about her uncle. "Me and my Uncle always hung out together, we played video games together everyday when I got home from school, we would talk about anything, we played silly jokes on each other and pushed each other around. My uncle helped me get through a lot of things, he made me feel better when I was feeling down, or I helped him when he was feeling down. He was kind of like an older brother to me, even though we got into countless of stupid fights we always talked again after that and always stayed "best friends". During the summers we would go down to the beach and splash the water at each other, I remember when I thought there was a fish chasing after me and he scooped me up out of the water and threw me back in, we got a good laugh in the end but it was just those fun things you never forget. He was a great person, and I hope he knows I always love him."

Survived by his parents Zachary Dominic Simone, Sr. and Kristine Marie Simone, 2 brothers: Michael and wife Elena Labrecque, Anthony Simone, sister Tiffany and husband Michael Harvey, 2 nieces, 4 nephews, maternal grandmother Cynthia Forbush, paternal grandmother Viola Simone, uncle Joseph Scott Simone, 2 aunts: Claudia Anne Trethewey, Tracey Podue, also 5 cousins.

He will be missed by all that took the time to know him. His family will never be the same.
