William Richard
Thorsell
February 28, 1950 – February 16, 2021
Rochester, NH
William "Bill" Richard Thorsell, age 70, of Adrien Circle, died February 16 at home after a long battle of declining health.
Born in Exeter, NH and raised in Brentwood, NH on February 28,1950, the son of Charles F. Thorsell and Virginia (Dickie) Thorsell. A graduate of Exeter High School, Class of 1968. Vetran of the US Army 1968-1970. Married the love of his life June 9,1972. He has resided in Rochester for the last 5 years. Prior to that the family lived in Milton, NH for over 20 years.
A heavy equipment operator, Bill enjoyed and took much pride in his work, he ran all of the equipment for over 45 years, and worked all around New England doing all kinds of jobs.
Bill had worked as a heavy equipment operator for Barron Brothers Development, Gove Construction, Park Construction, Pike Construction, Coleman Construction, RSA as well as others.
Bill was the most loving, kind, gentle, understanding man to his family and friends. He would always be there for anyone he cared about no matter what, and would do whatever he could to help, that's just the kind of person he was. He loved to talk to everyone, about anything, but mostly politics, he was very opinionated once in a while. He was also a big teddy bear, with a great big laugh. He was the best husband, Dad, and the very best Beeba (grandfather/great grandfather) and friend. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. As Bill would say, "he has left all of his love for everyone, to stop the hate in the world".
Predeceased by wife Terri-Lynn Thorsell; daughter Jennifer C. (Thorsell) Oelschlager, great grandson Dennis Thorsell-Carpenter and sister Sandra Thorsell.
Survived by daughter; Jaclyn "Jackie" S. Forner of Wakefield, brother Chuck and Carolyn Thorsell of Epping, NH, Jim and sister Carol Layton of Brentwood, NH, grandchildren; Evan Thorsell-Cary, Kennedhi Thorsell-Cary, Gillian Cary, Garrett Thorsell-Forner. As per her family's wishes, there are no services at this time. There will be a graveside service held in the Spring for both Bill and Terri.
If you were unaware, Bill would want you to know, "Trump is a loser, and he's Fired!"
