William H. Eldridge, age 86, of Old Stage Road in Sanbornville, died April 6, 2015, peacefully at home.
Born November 9, 1928 and raised in Center Ossipee, the son of Fred and Dora (Sargent) Eldridge, he resided in Sanbornville for many years.
William was a veteran of the United States Army, a Corporal, having served during the Korean War.
He was retired from the former Spaulding Fibre Company and also had worked at the landfill for the Town of Wakefield.
Survived by his wife of 47 years: Catherine P. (Quimby) Eldridge, 4 sons: Kenneth R. Adjutant, Robert A. Adjutant, Ronald H. Adjutant and Rodney W. Eldridge, a daughter: Debra Williams, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, 2 siblings: Norman Eldridge and Eva Woodbury, also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings: Richard Eldridge, Roy Eldridge, Evelyn Dore and Irma Hodgeman, also 2 children: Lester Adjutant and Shirley Nason.
