Willard R. (Fogg) Welsh, Sr., age 76, of Gilman's Corner Road in Alton, passed away April 7, 2017 at home in Alton.
Born in Wolfeboro on May 11, 1940, a son of Willard and Eileen (Sterling) Fogg, he resided many years in Alton.
Willard worked many years at Diamond International. He spent the remainder of his working career as a bus driver for the Governor Wentworth School District.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, his biggest enjoyment was being surrounded by family.
Survived by his wife Mildred L. (Kimball) Welsh, 3 daughters: Lori Hooper, Karen Welsh and Mary Welsh, 3 sons: Willard R. Welsh, Jr., Keith Welsh and Robert Welsh, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, a brother Kenneth and wife Eileen Fogg, also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 sisters: DeeDee Massey, Nancy Fogg and a brother Neil Fogg.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 12Noon at his residence on Gilman's Corner Road in Alton. Cremation care by Peaslee Alton Funeral Home.
