Born on October 12, 1929, in Montgomery, NY to Walter Precival (Walter) Potter, born August 30th, 1902 and Helen Isabel (Fall) Potter, born March 12th, 1905.  Dan lived a long, full life grounded in family and faith.

Dan was known for his quiet strength, humor, many stories, and deep devotion to his family. He was a selfless man who always put others before himself. His strong work ethic and steadfast character left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Dan was a faithful member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in New Durham, NH.

Dan's siblings were Robert Potter (deceased), Myron Potter (deceased), Donald (Don) Potter (deceased), Francis (Fran) Potter Carson (Meredith, NH), Richard (Dick) Potter (deceased), Edmond Potter (deceased), Barbara (Barbie) Potter (deceased), Frank Jon (Sandy) Potter.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Gertrude (Trudy) Hair Potter, with whom he shared many cherished years. He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Moore and Bonnie Succi, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
