Werner "Vern" H. Schloesser, age 69, of Ledgeview Drive in Gonic, died October 8, 2011 at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.



Born November 9, 1941 in Bruhl-Pingsdorf, Germany, the son of Johann H. Schloesser and Kaethe (Knab) Gross. Vern lived in Germany until the age of 10 then moved to the United states. He has resided in the Rochester area for over 47 years most recently in Gonic.



A former Brake Press Operator at Teledyne Laars in Rochester, he had also worked at the Thompson Center Arms of Rochester, and worked many years as an Auto Mechanic working for many area garages.



Vern enjoyed working on cars and was a classic car enthusiast, playing cards, and watching TV.



Survived by his wife of 47 years: Sally C. (Chick) Schloesser of Gonic, 2 Sons: Keith A. and his wife Maria Schloesser of Farmington, Daniel W. and his wife Kimberly Schloesser of Gonic, 2 Daughters: Bonnie L. and her husband Roland Currier of Middleton, Kathy L. Horne of Weare, NH, 1 brother Helmut and wife Inge Knab of Germany 1 Sister Helga of Germany, 5 Grandchildren: EricaSchloesser, Chris Currier, Matthew Horne, Kaethe Horne, Cole Schloesser, predeceased by 1 grandson Nicholas Currier.



A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 15, 2011 at 11:00am with calling hour from 10:00am-11:00am at the Peaslee Funeral Home 24 Central Street Farmington, NH , interment will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
