Wellington Fredrick Farrington, age 96, of East Lebanon, ME, passed away on July 6, 2026, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

Born in Andover, ME on February 20, 1930. Son of Henry Austin Farrington and Nancy Irene (Moores) Farrington.

Owner and operator of Farrington Lumber.

A proud United States Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Wellingtons hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, Harness Racing, bowling, horseshoes, Cribbage / cards, bird watching and feeding.

Survived by his companion of 56 years Sylvia Peare, children Robert Farrington, Jeff Farrington, Michael Farrington, and Scott Farrmington, stepchildren Jonathan, Lorraine, Edward and Douglas, siblings Freda, Jeannette, Roseanna, Patricia, and Ernest, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, his daughter Charlotte, siblings Lois, Evelyn, Henry, Richard, Danny, Raymond, and Emma.

Funeral service with Military Honors will be held on Friday July 10, 2026, 3:00pm, at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH, with a calling hour prior from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.
