Wayne D. Garland, 72, of Lebanon, Maine died peacefully, on January 15, 2026 at home with his daughter and son-in-law by his side.

He was born on April 10, 1953 in Rochester, NH; the son of Walter M. Garland Jr. and Marcie E. Mercer. He grew up in Farmington, NH and was a carpenter by trade. He helped build many houses in the area including his own and two of his own brother's.

He liked hunting, fishing, clamming and just being outside. He truly loved spending time with his wife, in the gardens and at their home, Sunday morning breakfasts with Mother, Friday night pool with his brothers, Christmas with the whole family and Sunday afternoon dinners with his daughter and her family. His brothers were not only his brothers, they were his best friends, especially his brother, Wendall.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca & husband Robert Ebare Jr of Farmington, NH; Aunt Nancy & husband Arthur Cohen of Santa Monica, CA; Brothers, Walter Garland III & wife Thayer Plante of Alton, NH; William & wife Waneta Garland of Barnstead, NH; Wendall & wife Karen Garland of Middleton, NH; and Richard & wife Lillian Pollard of Middleton, NH; Granddaughter, Erryn & husband Logan Lewis; Grandson, Logan Ebare; Great-Grandson, Hudson Lewis; and many nieces, nephews & cousins. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Cheryl A. Petroni; his brother, Warren Garland and his parents, Mother & Pop.
