Evans
April 28, 1962 – May 19, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wade Evans, 62 on May 19, 2024 of New Durham, NH.
Wade's life was marked by a spirit of adventure, service, and an unyielding zest for life. Born on April 28th, 1962, to the late Roland A Evans and Sharon (Hall) Cann. Wade graduated from Noble High School and then enlisted in the Army at the young age of 20 years old, where he served with distinction. His years stationed in Germany during the 1980's were among his fondest memories, filled with camaraderie and a sense of purpose. Wade's stories of his time overseas were legendary among friends and family.
After his service, Wade brought his skills and discipline home, where he most recently worked as a Certified HVAC Technician at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME. In retirement, Wade developed a passion for tinkering around the house. Though he rarely finished a project, his enthusiasm and creativity were never in short supply. He was a fixture in his community, always willing to lend a hand or share a story over a cold drink. Wade embraced each day with an infectious joy and humor. His laughter and indomitable spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Wade leaves behind his wife Cheri Evans of New Durham, NH; a son Allan Evans of Seattle, WA; a daughter Bree Duston, her husband, Jamieson Duston, four granddaughters Sophie, Emma, Hannah and Abigail of Dover, NH; his mother Sharon Cann of Safety Harbor, FL; sister Deborah Collins of Kennebunk, ME; sister Lori Sapp of Georgia; along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Roland A Evans.
Wade's legacy is one of love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to living life to its fullest.
