Virginia L .Irish, 91, passed away July 30, 2011 at Riverside Rest Home, Dover, NH. Born in Wolfeboro, NH May 18, 1920 to Fred and Maude (Elliott) Morgan, she was the youngest of four children, and was known to the local residents of Wolfeboro as the "milk delivery" girl. Mrs. Irish was a resident of Farmington, NH, and resided in Rochester, NH later in life. She was a graduate of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro in 1938, and was a 59 year member of the Women's Auxiliary in Farmington, NH.

Surviving family members include daughters Dorothy McGuigan of Farmington, NH and Susan Button of Orlando, FL, sons Charles Irish of Corona, CA, and John Irish of Exeter, NH, 15 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Irish was predeceased in 2008 by her husband of 68 years, Neal Irish and two daughters, Betty Raymond of Manchester, NH in 1990 and Carolyn Irish, a child in 1952.



Services

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Friday, Aug. 5th, at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington, NH.
