Valerie L. Blomstedt, age 72, of Old Stage Road in Sanbornville, passed away quietly at Wolfeboro Bay Center.

Born November 7, 1947 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Allen R. and Virginia F. (Croessant) Rudolph, she resided in New Jersey for years and lived in Sanbornville, NH since 1975.

Valerie was proactive in promoting the Constitution of the United States of America and was active in teaching through the NH Children of the Republic.

Valerie and her father Allen owned and operated naturopathic health food stores in New Jersey and Maine.

An avid gardener and homesteader at home in Sanbornville, she canned the fruits and vegetables she had grown and made her own teas.  She and her late mother also made beautiful dried flower arrangements together.

A former President of the Belleau Lake Association.

Prior to her late husband's passing in 2016, John E. Blomstedt, they enjoyed traveling all over the world together.  She is survived by several dear friends.

A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 6:00pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road, Sanbornville, NH.
