Alton, New Hampshire:
Thomas M. Seward, age 66, of Chestnut Cove Road in Alton, died suddenly at home on Sunday, December 14, 2014.
Born February 6, 1948 in Lynn, Massachusetts, a son of Patrick and June (Baldwin) Seward, he resided there for many years and resided in Alton, NH since 1999.
A Veteran of the United States Army, he served during Vietnam.
He retired from Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, an O.R. Technician, also he had worked at Union Hospital and at General Electric in Lynn, MA.
A member of the Honor Guard with Franco American Amvets Post 161, Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 10 and American Legion Post #72 in Alton, the Legion Riders, where he was involved with numerous charitable events. He also had served as a little league coach in East Lynn, MA, on their Board of Directors for many years.
Survived by the love of his life, his best friend, wife of 43 years: Carole R. (Witten) Seward and their 3 sons: Michael and Stacey Seward of Alton, Brian Seward and partner Sherry of Lynn, MA, Thomas Seward and partner Wendy Parker of Alton, 6 grandchildren: Nicholas, Joey, Steffi, Khy, BJ and Aiden, 2 great grandsons: Max and Landon, his brother: John and wife Brenda Seward, also a granddog "Roscoe".
Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a service at 6pm by Fr. Robert F. Cole. Graveside military honors will be on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 1:00pm at the columbarium at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
