Thomas James O'Brien, age 76, of Milton, NH passed away on March 7, 2021, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the much beloved husband of Margaret (Smith) O'Brien, with whom he shared 56 loving years of marriage.  He and Margaret raised their two daughters, Sharon and Kellie, in Lynn, MA.  They then went on to reside in New Hampshire for the past 28 years.

Born in Lynn, MA in 1944, he was the son of the late John and Ethel (Doward) O'Brien.  He was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. Prior to retirement, Tom was employed as Worldwide Logistics Director with Corning Scientific for 50 years.

Tom was a devout Catholic who supported and served the various parishes he was a member of throughout the years.  He was a member of the V Club, Parish Council and Parish Committees.   Tom was an avid reader, he loved to travel and spend time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.  He was proud of his Irish heritage and enjoyed listening to Irish music.

Along with his dear wife Margaret, Tom is survived by their two loving daughters Sharon and husband Neil Kennedy, Kellie and husband Michael Fraser; their grandchildren, Rebecca and Sara Atkinson, Melanie, Matthew and Molly Fraser; his siblings Mary  (O'Brien) and her husband Joseph (Whitey) Kaczynski, Peggy (O'Brien) and her husband James Lander, his brother John O'Brien and his wife Sandy, and his half sister Barbara (Casey) Farwell, and many nieces and nephews.  Tom was predeceased by his half brother Joseph Casey.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Anthony's Church, 239 Meadow Street, Sanbornville, NH with Fr. Patrick N. Gilbert, pastor, as celebrant.  Urn interment will be later at Mount Calvary (St. Anthony's) Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to:  NH Catholic Charities, Wentworth Hospice, or Habitat for Humanity.  To express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
