IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas Patrick
Dillon
July 5, 1973 – November 22, 2023
Thomas Patrick Dillon, known to his family and friends as Tommy and his very close loved ones as Tree Skirt, passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 50 in Farmington, New Hampshire. He was born on July 5, 1973, in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Tommy was an amazing husband, father, brother, friend, and a giant pain in the ass, as many can attest to.
He was born and grew up in the Upper Highlands section of Lowell, Massachusetts. His love of sports showed early on, playing baseball for the Highland Little League community team, as well as school teams. His love of soccer blossomed in junior high and followed him through his college years. He was the goalie for Lowell High School and later for Salem State College.
Summers were spent in Hampton, NH where he developed a love for surfing. Tommy has surfed in NH, Seaside Heights, NJ, Buxton, North Carolina, Montauk, Long Island and Costa Rica among other locations.
His love of fishing arose from family boating out on the Atlantic Ocean but Tommy really made it his own happy place transitioning to freshwater.
Tommy spent most of his life working at Eno Design Center in Hampton, NH, later becoming Best Tile. He followed in his maternal grandfather, George Abrahamson's footsteps as a stone cutter. George cut the granite for President John F. Kennedy's grave at Arlington National Cemetery.
Tommy found great joy on the baseball field with Jacob. Not only did he enjoy coaching his son, he absolutely loved coaching all his other players alongside his fellow coaches. The baseball community became his second family, and he cherished the time spent with them. His dedication and passion for the sport left a lasting impact on all those he coached. Tommy also loved to cook. He was always looking for a new recipe to try. Some were great, some not so much. He also loved his NASCAR.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Aimee; his children, Jacob and Raelyn; his stepdaughter, Arianna; his brother, Michael, and his wife, Jenna; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Cynthia Jones; his brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Leslie Jones; his nieces Muriel, Rylee and Kaylie and her partner Nate; his nephews, Caleb and Elliott; and his fellow coaches, Coach Beth and Coach John.
A celebration of Tommy's life will be held after the holidays, allowing friends and family to come together and honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to New England Donor Services. Tommy believed in the importance of organ donation and would be grateful for any support given in his memory.
May Tommy's spirit live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and may his legacy inspire others to find joy in the things they are passionate about.
