Obituary

Thomas E. Bryson

February 9, 1930 – January 19, 2019

Middleton, NH

Thomas E. Bryson quietly passed away on January 19.  Tom was born in Chicago, Illinois to Helen Mary (Ludwick) Bryson and James Rowland Bryson, Sr.   He was their second son.  Their first, James R. Bryson, (deceased) from Orlando, FL was a year older.  William E. Bryson, the youngest was 10 years younger and lives in Milton, NH.   Tom never married but was engaged to Evelyn Woodward of Dover, NH.  Tom's sister-in-law, Myrna Bryson, resides in Orlando, FL and her 4 children are scattered around the country.

Thomas graduated from Thornton Township High School in Harvey, Ill.   He went into the US Marine Corp and served his MOS as a photographer. In 1956 the family moved to Middleton, NH to start a dairy farm. Tom worked a few jobs but then dabbled in being a cattle dealer for a while.  He was a natural for working on farm equipment, and started his own equipment business. But through all the years, from his very first 1946 Packard, he loved classic cars.  He worked his dream with farm machinery, and equipment sales, along with his collecting, and selling classic car parts, but mostly centered on the Packard brand.

Tom was a 32 degree Master Mason at Unity Lodge #62, in Union, NH and received his 50 year pin in 2014.  He enjoyed visiting other lodges around the area, and took pleasure in being a fez hatted Shriner. His ashes will be scattered around the farm hay fields that presently hold a number of skeleton use-to-be cars that he cannibalized in order to restore other old classic cars.

There will not be any visiting hours and no gifts or flowers need to be sent.
