Obituary

Farmington, NH

Thomas Holmes Bagshaw, Jr, age 50, died the afternoon of August 8, 2017 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH.

Tommy was born in Gloucester, MA on October 10, 1966 to the late Thomas and Asta (Moore) Bagshaw. His family moved to Bedford, NH when Tommy was in high school and Tommy spent most of his adult life in the Manchester, NH area. In 2012, Tommy found his home in Farmington, NH where he lived with his best girl, Aimee Louise Richard.

Tommy graduated from Bridgton Academy, an all-male college preparatory in North Bridgton, Maine. He continued his studies at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont. Tommy, proudly graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business.

Tommy was very active as an Altar Boy, in his youth, serving his parish family. He was also a Cub Scout and Boy Scout for many years, even garnishing a few 1st place finishes in the Scouts annual Pine Wood Derby races. Living on the ocean, Tommy was also part of the Local Sea Scouting Program. He was very proud of his young life, to have had many summers with ice cream at the beach where Tommy grew up.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Asta (Moore) Bagshaw and Thomas Bagshaw, Sr., along with his grandparents, aunt, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his best friend and companion, Aimee Richard and her wonderful family, that loved Tommy as part of their family. This extended family is Maurice Richard, Jr., Patricia Richard, Julia Richard and her daughter Samantha Joy and grandson Braylon, Silver, Joshua Richard and M. Andre' Richard and his daughter Holly, Richard, whom Tommy took pride in teaching her how to swim and dive in their family's pool, along with Braylon.

Family and friends were extremely important to Tommy. He is going to be missed, forever, by his sisters and their extended families: Anne Weidacher, Peggy Bagshaw, Kari, Brian and their son Jack Charles, TC and Brett Chavaree, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. Through the "power" of Facebook, Tommy reconnected with two of his closest childhood friends, Randy Sears and Nata Baldasaro. They were the brothers he never had in a world full of sisters.

A Mass will be celebrated in honor of Tommy on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at St. Mary's Church at 10:30am on Lowell Street in Rochester, NH. Cremation care by Peaslee Funeral Home.
