Susie E. Thurston, age 74, of New Durham, NH, died unexpectedly from complications of COVID at Frisbie Memorial Hospital on November 20th, 2020. She passed on in the arms of her loving husband Louis W. Thurston, and while being comforted by her daughter Kelly Higinson.

Susie was born in May of 1946 and had lived in her beautiful home in New Durham, NH for several years. You could often find her Bird Watching, sipping tea on the porch, or tending to her garden. She loved trips to the ocean with her husband, and their weekly date night trips to Taco Bell. Susie was an amazingly kind hearted person who illuminated a room as soon as she entered it.

Susie is survived by her husband Louis W. Thurston (New Hampshire); her mother-in-law Dorothy VonFricken (New Hampshire); her siblings James Bilyou (Florida), Howard Bilyou (New Hampshire), Sara Martin (Florida), and Dorothy Frank (New York); her children Kim Villanueve (Kentucky), Kelly Higinson (New York), and Chet Simpson (New York); her grandchildren Robert Moran (Florida), Alissa Moran (Florida), Jason Higinson (New York), Julianne Higinson (New York), Alyssa & Jae Rodriguez (Texas), Courtney Perry (New York), Lindsey Perry (New Hampshire), Jacqulyn Thurston (Virginia), and Mandie Thurston (Virginia); and her great grandchildren Hope Thurston (Virginia), Trinity Rines ( New Hampshire), and Lorelai Rodriguez (Texas).

Susie is preceded in death by her parents; her late husband; and her step-children Karen Thurston, Mark Thurston, and Kris Tedeman
