Susan Martha (Laney) Montana, age 71 of Somersworth, NH passed away on December 23, 2022, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, of natural causes.

Born and raised in Lee, NH on July 29, 1951, daughter of George Laney and Geraldine (Gorton) Laney. She had resided in Somersworth, NH for 7 years, coming from Dover, NH and Newmarket, NH.

Susan had worked for Burger King for 27 years. She managed the Stratham, NH location and the past 7 years at the Somersworth, NH location.

She enjoyed sewing quilting, shopping, working and most importantly spending time with family.

Survived by her 4 children Julie A. DiCarlo and Husband Ronald DiCarlo, Jr., Wendy E. Perkins and husband Dana Perkins, Kerry L. Ayers and husband Christopher "Columbus" Ayers, Eric B. DeWitt and wife Sanja Kugat, 3 siblings Georgie Laney, Dave Laney, and Becky Laney, 8 grandchildren Cody, Esther, Madison, Abrial, Jessica, Adam, Analeigh, and Audric, 8 great grandchildren, her 35 year old Cockatiel Sammie, along with nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by her beloved of 11 years husband David K. Montana, and 2 brothers Mark Laney and Daniel Shannon.

There will be a memorial service in honor of Susan M. Montana's life on Saturday June 10th, 2023 at Noon at the South Side Cemetery at 34 Raymond Road in Nottingham, NH.  Immediately following the service there will be a Celebration of Life at the Somersworth, NH. American Legion Function Hall.
