Susan Anne Alden, 49 of Amherst, NH died peacefully on November 4, 2014 with her family by her side.

Born April 18, 1965 in Putnam, CT., the daughter of Edward R. Martin and Dorothy (Martin) Veisel, she worked as a manager at Easter Seals of NH caring for victims of head injury.

Susan was a graduate of Kingswood Regional High School and obtained a BA degree from SUNY Cortland in New York. She enjoyed a love and passion for basketball, which she has passed on to her daughter.

Sue is survived by her loving husband, John and their two children Carolyn, who is a sophomore at SNHU, and Jonathan who is a senior at Souhegan High School, and who plans to continue his education at NHTI.

She is also survived by her parents, Edward and Dorothy, her In-Laws Paulette and John Brooks, 2 brothers David Martin of Holliston, MA and Jeffrey Martin of Bedford, NH, Sisters-in-Laws: Dana Martin, Dawn Law, Cathy Alden, Bethany Willey, Brothers-in-Laws: Steve Law, Rick Alden, and many beloved Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

Calling hours are Friday November 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Peaslee Funeral Home 24 Central Street Farmington, NH.

A graveside service will be Saturday November 15th at 11:00 AM at John Shirley Cemetery in NewDurham, NH.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be sent to the Community Hospice House at 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054.
