Steven Richard Temple, age 76, of Alton, NH, passed away peacefully, at home, on June 7, 2023.

He was born on September 17, 1946 in Boston, MA, the son of George and Ruth (Bonney) Temple.  Steven was a Veteran of the United States Army.  A helicopter pilot, he served during the Vietnam War with two tours of duty.

Steven was a member of the VFW, DAV and Post Commander of the American Legion in Alton.

Prior to retirement, he was employed as Electrical and Mechanical Engineer with the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

For the past twenty years, together with his loving partner Linda R. Davis, they resided in Alton and Florida.  Antique dealers, they travelled across the country, in the RV, visiting various states, attending Antique Auctions and Shows, having so much fun!

He is survived by his son Joseph Temple and grandson Steven Temple, also his partner of twenty plus years Linda R. Davis.  Predeceased by two sisters Nancy and Jane.

Urn interment will be at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, with military honors by the American Legion on Wednesday June 21, 2023 at 2pm.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 3pm at the American Legion in Alton.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the American Legion in Alton, NH.  Cremation care by Peaslee Alton Funeral Home, to express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
