Steven R. LaPointe, age 57, of Union Street in Farmington, died February 13, 2019 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Born August 8, 1961 in Laconia, son of Ronald and Patricia (Gullison) LaPointe, he resided in Farmington for 52 years.

A graduate of Farmington High School, he had worked as a Landscaper with Cameron's Sod Farm.

Steve enjoyed times with family at camp, fishing and paddle boating.  A collector of oil lamps, he loved making maple syrup with his grandson Timothy Tufts, he loved his dogs, whom, he took on daily rides in the "dog house".  Steve loved to make cookies, pies and muffins for his wife and grandkids, he was a great cook, husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, great grandfather and he was an Organ Donor.

Survived by his wife Margaret (Jenness) Hapsis-LaPointe, son Shane Hapsis and Rebecca Gray, daughters: Jenness and husband Jeremy Tufts, Vanessa and husband Heath Smith, 10 grandchildren: Alex Hapsis Sydney, Jazmin Hapsis, Bobby Hapsis, Timothy Tufts, Owen Smith, Joshua Spruce, Evan Smith, Gabbi Patch, Tylah and Kaiden Duff, 3 great grandchildren: Owen and Layla Hapsis, Blake Hall, brothers: Kevin and wife Tina LaPointe, Michael and wife Elaine LaPointe, uncles: Robert LaPointe and Pam, Gerry and Joyce Gullison, aunts: Irene Caruso, Shirley Westcott and Carol Bickford, many cousins, niece: Samantha Fitzpatrick Edwards, nephews: Joseph LaPointe, Arvard Worster and Emily, Robert Worster, Terry Place and Samantha, inlaws: Steven Edwards, Cynthia and Terry Place, Carol and Arvard Worster.  Predeceased by his parents, grandparents and sister Kelly LaPointe Edwards.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 12Noon-3pm at the American Legion on Route 28N in Alton, NH.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Cocheco Veterinary Hospital (for those in need) 1238 NHRoute 11, Farmington, NH 03835.  Cremation care by Peaslee Funeral Home.
