Steven Arthur Goodwin, age 76, of Rochester, NH, exchanged his rugged cross for a crown, after a courageous battle with cancer, on July 9, 2021.

Steven was a graduate of Farmington High School, Class of 1963 and continued his education at UNH, earning a business degree.

In 1965, he married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn Jean Sprague.  Married for 55 years, they raised two daughters in their hometown of Farmington, NH.

Steven honorably served his country and enlisted in the United States Army Reserves from 1966-1971.

Working at Davidson Rubber with his wife and friends, many memories were made.  However, Steven went on to work at the Farmington National and Savings Bank, where he built his career as a loan officer and then on to Assistant Vice President.

Steven was responsible for many fundraising activities for the local sports teams, Dollars for Scholars Program and making sure the kids at the Advent Christian Church have a Bible School and Youth Groups to attend.

His "retirement" job was one of his favorites, working at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, NH, he was a bus driver for the many sports and activities groups for "his kids".

Going back to school at the age of 72, Steven earned his pastoral diploma.  He advocated the rebuilding of the Advent Christian Church of Farmington, while serving as Pastor.

Steven's greatest enjoyment was watching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports.  He would never miss a game.
