Stephen L. Ward, age 72, of Freedom, NH, died June 25, 2024, at home.

Born November 25, 1951 in Dover, NH, a son of Stephen R. Ward & Dorothy (Norman) Ward LaFlesh, he resided there for many years, also residing in Ossipee, NH and in Freedom, NH, the past 23 years.

Stephen was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Prior to retirement, he was employed as a Carpenter with local building contractors.

He loved hunting and fishing.

Survived by his wife Sandra L. (Brulotte) Ward, 2 children: Jason M. & wife Carrie Ward and Jennifer L. Ward, 8 grandchildren:  Aidan, Tucker, Mattison, Bryton, Colton, Sawyer, Parker and Georgia, a great granddaughter Olivia, 4 siblings: Wendy Browning, Tammy Ward Herman, Tim Ward and John LaFlesh, also many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by 2 sisters: Vickie Rose and Lera Scott.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH, family and friends are welcome.  Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington, NH.  To express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
