Stephen Edward Byrnes, Sr, age 63 from New Hampshire and formerly of West Peabody, MA, passed away December 18, 2024, after a long courageous battle of cancer.

Born in Malden, MA to the Son of the late Robert M. Byrnes, Sr. and Arline M. (McKenna) Byrnes.

Stephen worked for over 30 years for Zampell Refractories, Inc. as a mason.  He had a lot of people who cared deeply about him throughout his career.  Stephen brought a lot of smiles to a lot of people.

Stephen enjoyed time on the lake with his family.  Always there to lend a hand with anything that needed fixing. His grandkids were everything to him. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson on the weekends.

Survived by his loving sister's: Karen Rost and Husband Bradford, and Christine Dempsey, Brothers; Robert Byrnes, Jr., Kevin Byrnes, and Timothy Byrnes, daughter-in-law: Chelsea Byrnes, grandchildren: Garrett and Raeya, nieces & nephews: Shauna, Riley, Terena and her husband Ted, Brendon, Lisa and Liam, and great niece: Fredi.

Predeceased by his wife Kimberly (Rubchinuk) Byrnes, his children: Allysia Byrnes and Stephen E. Byrnes, Jr., his brother Shawn Byrnes.
