Stanley Glidden passed away on Thursday August 24th, 2017 following a lengthy illness surrounded by family.
He was born on October 10th 1945 in Rochester NH, the son of Chester Glidden and Lois Glidden of Farmington. He was a 1963 graduate of Farmington High School. He served in the Army Reserves in the 1960's. After working many years as a carpenter he more recently worked in manufacturing.
He was predeceased by his parents and a sister and brother. He is survived by his loving wife Roberta Glidden of Farmington NH. A son Stanley Glidden of Farmington NH. A daughter Bobbie Glidden, son-in law Paul Richard and grandson Graham Richard of Dover, NH. A sister Cathy Wiggin and her husband Lanny Wiggin of Middleton, NH and a sister Elaine Gove and her husband Stanley Gove of Florida. A brother-in law Michael Rouillard and wife Marcia Rouillard of Twin Moutain, NH. An Aunt, Uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He enjoyed playing golf, the outdoors and watching the Red Sox. He was a very caring man who loved his family.
A private service will be held with family at a later date.
