Shirley L. Campbell, age 85, a longtime resident of Dover, died March 23, 2016, at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 29, 1930 in Rochester, the daughter of Charles and Lena (Downs) Connor, she was a graduate of Spaulding High School, Class of 1948. She also resided for a time in Strafford with her daughter and most recently at RRH.
A loving homemaker and mother, widow of Forrest S. Campbell, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts, fishing, camping and canoeing. She was an active participant with RRH Activities Department.
Survived by her 3 children: Gail Indelicato, Holly and husband William Moore, Tammy and husband William Britton, 3 grandchildren: Daniel Indelicato, Jennifer Campbell and Cara Roberts, 7 great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Aidan, Caleb, Nicholas, Liam, Ryan and Isabelle, also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister: Patricia Harriman.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 10am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a calling hour prior to the service from 9-10am. Interment will be in April at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to: Riverside Rest Home, Activities Department, 276 County Farm Road, Dover, NH 03820.
