Shirley A. Batchelder, age 82, of Eastern Avenue, Studley Home in Rochester, died quietly there, at home, Saturday morning April 23, 2016.
Born November 27, 1933 in Wolfeboro, the daughter of Maurice I. and Lena (Leighton) Bennett, she resided in Epsom for over 40 years and lived in Rochester since 1995.
A homemaker, the widow of Leonard S. Batchelder, Jr.
Survived by her sister: Constance and husband Otis Woodard of Rochester, nephew: Brian O. and wife Kathy Woodard, niece: Susan M. and husband Stephen Folsom, and their children, also dear friends: Kathy and David Gruette and their son Mike.
A special thank you by her family to the staff at Studley Home and Cornerstone VNA/Hospice.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH, with a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11am. Interment will follow at Short Falls Cemetery in Epsom.
