Sharron Lee Ireland, age 70, passed away on March 25, 2013, after a brief illness.
Born in Dover, NH on July 15, 1942, she was the daughter of Manfred W. Thurber, Jr. and Alice (Cole) Thurber.
She worked at Miller Shoe for many years and was employed at General Electric prior to her accident.
Sharron loved the outdoors and nature, she enjoyed snowmobiling and going to camp. She loved spending time with her family, especially her great grandson Damian.
Widow of the late Richard Ireland, she is survived by her daughter Melissa Balch and husband Ted of Farmington, NH, her son William Massey and wife Karen of Wakefield, NH, grandchildren: Theodore J. Balch, Timothy R. Balch and Christopher Massey, her brother William Thurber and wife Pat, also many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Yolanda Duncan and Tabitha Robbins for helping with her care and making her comfortable, also to Cornerstone VNA for all their care, kindness and support.
A private service will be held. Interment will be later in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
