Sharon L. (Colby) Wingate, age 73 of Crosswind Lane in Rochester, NH. Began her new journey on March 10, 2013 from the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, NH.

Born June 2, 1939 in Rochester, NH the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Burbank) Colby, she was raised in Gonic, NH and has resided in Rochester her entire life. A graduate of Spaulding High School class of 1957.

Sharon who was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Wingate had owned and operated Cate's Rexall Drugstore in down town Rochester for many years. She had also worked at many area business' to include Miltners, Dover Drug, Cabletron, Gerrity Lumber and was known as"Office Sharon" for Corinnes school of Dance of Rochester.

Hobbies included: Knitting, walking and spending time family and friends.

Survived by her companion: Royce "Skip" Claflin of Rochester, her son: Bradley J and his wife Sharon R. Wingate of Rochester, her daughter: Roberta L. "Bobbie" Woodman and her significant other David J. Pomerleau of Strafford, 2 brothers: Wayne Colby of Gonic, and Edward Colby of Concord, 4 Grandchildren: Ryan J. Wingate and girlfriend Crystal Glidden of Dover, Kevin R. and his wife Lindsey Wingate of Barrington, Jamie L. DiPrizio of Farmington and Matthew J. and his wife Brittani D. Woodman of Farmington, 4 Great grandchildren: Brianna, Jeffrey, Brysen and expecting:Bentley along with several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be on Thursday March 14, 2013 from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Peaslee Funeral Home 24 Central Street Farmington, NH, A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm with Rev.
