Sally Gray, age 83, of Water Street in Farmington, died Thursday, September 18, 2014, peacefully in her sleep.
She was born May 7, 1931 in Exeter, NH, the daughter of Laurence Sr. and Grace (Guyette) Woodard.
Sally resided in Farmington all her life, where she was a homemaker and bookkeeper for Ervin Gray General Contractor. Prior to that she was employed at a local shoe shop.
She enjoyed being outdoors, which included gardening, camping, skiing and golfing. She was an extremely talented painter and an avid Red Sox fan.
Members of her family include a son Robert Gray and wife Ginny of Farmington, a daughter Pamela Gerry and husband Kendall of Alfred, Maine, a brother Laurence Woodard, Jr. and wife Ruth of Virginia, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, also many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Ervin "Sam" Gray in 2013 and her daughter Linda Gray Macdonald in 2004.
The family would like to thank Colonial Hill Nursing Home, as well as her granddaughter Tammi Tufts for the compassionate and quality care provided for the last couple of years.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11:00 am at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington, family and friends are welcome.
