Ruth Sterling Woodard, age 88 of Farmington, NH passed away peacefully on January 8, 2023 at her home, of natural causes.

Born in South Berwick, ME on January 7, 1935, daughter of Burpee Hilton and Bernice (Young) Hilton.

Ruth retired after 19 years of working for Davidson Rubber.

She enjoyed window shopping, gardening, babysitting grandchildren, playing rummy, camping, family trips to Ohio, and visiting the family farm in South Berwick, ME every Sunday.

Survived by her 2 daughters Tamatha Woodard and Patty Cardinal, 3 stepchildren Henry Morrill and wife Linda, Glen Woodard and wife Donna, Sandra Plourde and husband Randy, brother Burpee Hilton, 14 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years Laurence Woodard, Jr, stepchild Michael Woodard, 7 siblings Warren, Bernard, Edward, Robert, Norbert, Leah, and Marion.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
