Ruth Deakins-Lowery age 62, of East Wakefield, passed away on September 2, 2021 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME.

Born in Grimsby Lincolnshire, UK on August 15, 1959, the daughter of Ron and Doreen (Seeney) Deakins. A graduate of Grimsby School of Modern Education.

Ruth worked as a Secretary for the British Embassy in D.C. and a Secretary at the Wakefield Town Hall.

She enjoyed bird and nature watching, feeding the animals and birds, shopping, along with indoor and outdoor plants and flowers.Survived by her father James, sister Janice, 3 brothers James, David, Eric and wife Comelia, 2 nephews Johnathan and William, and Aunt Margaret. Predeceased by her mother Doreen and Aunt Joan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Ruth's memory to ASPCA or any animal shelter of your choice and the hospitals or the Wakefield Congregational Church for the memorial brick walkway for a brick in her name. A brick costs $150.00 and the proceeds go to the FCCW Endowment Fund.

The Deakins' family wish to extend our sincere thanks to all of the caregivers at Wolfeboro Bay Center, the Dialaysis Center, the VNA that helped make Ruth comfortable, and all of those people who reached out to her when she needed assistance over the years.
