Ruth P. Clarke of New Durham, NH, passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 88, after a short battle with colon cancer.

She was the wife of Robert R. Clarke, who proceeded her in death in May of 2011, youngest of 11 children of parents Pauline and Anthony Kachocki of Lynn, MA (both deceased). She is survived by sons, Dennis and wife Holly of Ctr. Tuftonboro, NH, Steven of Iva, SC, Gary and his wife Lila of Lake Lucy, FL and daughter Cindy and husband Scott of New Durham, NH, her sister Wanda Christopher of Parkersburg, WV, 8 Grandchildren; Matthew, Steven, Robbie, Justin, Barbara (deceased), Matthew, Jason, Briana, Cassidy, Ashley, Brittany and Emily. And proud Great Grandmother to many more.
Ruth briefly worked at GE in Lynn before devoting her life to her husband Bob and children and family as it grew.
A devout Christian woman who loved spending time with her family and friends, building puzzles, cooking, eating, reading and life. She will always be remembered by her kindness, generosity, great humor and infectious laugh.
As her granddaughter Briana told her, "Thank you for being my first and best friend!" Those words could not express more, the love we held for her.
Calling hours are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday 2/11/23 at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a funeral service at 11:00 am with Fr. Robert F. Cole, pastor of St. Katharine Drexel Church, officiating.
Due to winter restrictions her interment at John Shirley Cemetery in New Durham, NH will be announced sometime in May.
In lieu of flowers, Ruth requested donations be sent in her name to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children Hospital, https://www.stjude.org.
The family would like to thank of nursing staff from Cornerstone VNA of Farmington, NH for their wonderful Hospice care and support they provided Ruth and our family over the last few months.
