Ruth Rita Brooks, age 69, of Route 153 passed away November 9, 2020 at home after her battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Rochester, NH on June 3, 1951, the daughter of Lauren Ellsworth and Rita Margaret (Boucher) Parker. She has resided in Middleton since 1975.

She worked for Textron and Varney's Market in Farmington, Hannaford in Rochester and retired as a Rural Postal Carrier for USPS, having worked out of Union and Milton offices.

After retirement Ruth dedicated her life to her family especially her grandchildren always finding different ways to spend the days with them.  She enjoyed her summers on Lake Ivanhoe where everyone that came was treated as family.

Survived by her mother; Rita M. Parker, her beloved husband of 50 years; Norman E. Brooks, Sr., son; Norman E. "Tiger" Brooks, Jr. and wife Gayle, daughter; Jessica M. Damon and husband Tom, 2 brothers; Albert Parker and wife Cheryl, Robert Parker and wife Nancy, 2 sisters; Kathy Payeur and Lois Parker, grandchildren; Ryan, Nevin, Jade, Ashleigh, Jacob, Ava, Orrie, Esmae, Isla, Arlo and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her father; Lauren E. Parker.

A Celebration of Ruth's Life will be held at a later date.
