Roxanne Daudelin Hodgdon, age 70, a lifelong resident of Farmington, has gone home to be with the Lord, she passed away December 18, 2024, at home with her loving family by her side. She fought a long and strong battle against cancer.
Roxanne was born April 10, 1954 in Rochester, NH, daughter of Murray & Eileen (Gray) Daudelin, a graduate of Farmington High School, Class of 1972, she was also known as "Rocky" and "Roxie".
Growing up, Roxanne knew she wanted to take care of people, so throughout her lifetime she became a certified LNA and EMT. She worked at many assisted living homes and served on the Middleton Fire and Farmington Fire Departments, for about 30 years.
Roxanne also worked at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, as a Patient Safety Attendant.
She worked in the Farmington School System for over 20 years, a Paraprofessional.
Roxanne attended the Journey Church of Barrington, where she has many friends and treated them as family. She loved going to the lake, having yard sales, crafting, reading, decorating for the holidays and gardening.
Survived by her daughter: Jessica Eileen Hodgdon & husband Jason Aniki & granddaughter Emily Anne, her son: Jonathan Royce Hodgdon & granddaughter Breck Elizabeth & grandson Maverick Jaymes. Predeceased by her parents, her longtime partner Leo Jacques and her beloved cats "Tumbles" & "TJ".
A special thanks from her family to the Wentworth-Douglass Cancer Center and especially to Dr. Wilhelmina Cabalona.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday January 4, 2025 at 10am at Journey Church in Barrington family and friends are welcome.
