IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roxanne Van
Gelder
February 25, 1960 – October 2, 2025
Roxanne passed away unexpectedly in her loving husband's arms. She was born on February 25, 1960 to Francis MacIver and Alyceann (Hubbard) MacIver in Dover, NH.
Roxanne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. One of her greatest joys in life was being a Meme to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her contests, cats, and a comfy blanket. She found joy in sewing, baking, and cooking for her family.
She loved hosting the holidays and celebrating her loved ones' birthdays. Her recipes will be cherished for generations to come; especially her famous meatballs and whoopie pies. She was little but mighty and fought a strong fight. A woman whose impact on every life she touched and beyond what words could never capture.
Roxanne is survived by her husband and soulmate Robert. Her daughter and best friend Kacie Jackson and her husband Jeff whom Roxanne considered her favorite. He was the son she never had. Her grandchildren Isaiah Jackson and his partner Patty Rivera, Makyla Jackson and her fiancee Blake Barbin and Jett Jackson. Her great grandchildren Preston and Juniper. Her two brothers Billy and Scott, sister Heidi and many nieces.
She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Charlie and Stevie and sister in law Pauline.
Her legacy will live on through the memories we shared, the values she instilled in us, her kindness, and the love she gave.
We take solace in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with her loved ones that have gone before her.
Rest in peace, you will forever be our guiding light.
