Rose Marie D'Ambroise, age 95, a longtime resident of Farmington, NH, passed away January 6, 2025 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH.
Born September 30, 1929 in Muskegon, Michigan, a daughter of Louis Levi Myer & Irene Clara (Gilbey) Myer, she was raised in Michigan. Rose resided in Farmington, NH since 1976, having previously resided in Sanford and Biddeford, Maine since 1962.
Prior to retirement, Rose had worked as a Quality Control Technician with the former Davidson Rubber Company (Textron).
She was parishioner of St. Peter's Church in Farmington and most recently at St. Mary's Church in Rochester.
Rose had enjoyed traveling, sight seeing, also bowling.
Survived by son David & wife Beverly D'Ambroise of Rochester, NH, daughter Phyllis A. Lucas of Mobile, Alabama, 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Louis Phil D'Ambroise, children: Michelle D'Ambroise, Paul D'Ambroise and Marie Bean, also 5 siblings: Hazel Schmidt, Virginia Schaeffer, Stella Schmidt, Levi Myer and Fred Myer.
Calling Hours on Friday January 10, 2025 from 6-8pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 11:30 am at St. Peter's Church, 90 Central Street, Farmington with Fr. Thomas Duston, pastor as celebrant. A calling hour prior to the mass at church from 10:30-11:30am. Interment will be in the spring at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford, Maine.
