Ronald "Ron" Mills, 72 of Milton, NH passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 surrounded by his family at his daughter's home. Ron was born in Auburndale, Florida. After high school, he was a Merchant Marine then served in the Army for two-terms overseas in the Vietnam war from 1966 to 1973 he received several medals and ribbons for his service to our country.

After returning from the war, he married the first love of his life Rosemary Howard Mills and they had three children. Ron was the epitome of what a father and provider should be – he tirelessly worked all day and still made time to play with his children and do projects around the house. If life was hard, he never let on; there were many fishing trips that led to the most amazing fish fry's for dinner. His kids never knew it was because funds were tight.

Ron loved being with his family, fishing, camping, traveling, woodworking, and being in the garden growing the biggest tomatoes and the prettiest flowers. He worked many jobs in his life, primarily carpentry and landscaping. He owned Ron's Floor Cleaning in Florida for several years before moving to NH.

After his first wife's passing, Ron was blessed to marry the second love of his life, Linda Watts Mills. Being the family man he was, he opened his heart to three stepchildren and many grandchildren.

Ron is preceded in death by his first wife of 18 years Rosemary, his second wife Linda of almost 18 years and his stepdaughter, Angela Telheiro.

Ron is survived by his three children: Melissa Sheehan and her husband Michael of Milton, NH. Ronald Mills and his love Jasmine Arabia of New Durham, NH. Susan Mills of Portsmouth NH. Timothy Sheehan of Milton who spent the last year with the family to help support Ron. Ron has several grandchildren who he loved dearly including Amber, Cory Jr, Mia, Darian, Bianca, Preston, Alyssa, Kayla, Kelsi, Morgan, Andrew, Elise, Michael Jr, Nathan, and Ivy. As well as three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Roman, and Winter.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday June 22, 2022, from 5pm-7pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street Farmington, NH. A private graveside service will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery Thursday June 23, 2022 at noon. Family and friends are welcome to join the family at his daughter's home after the burial.
