Ronald "Ron" Joseph Houle, 79, of Middleton NH passed away Saturday May 11, 2024, at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover NH after a long battle with congestive heart failure. He was a proud veteran of the Navy Seabee division in the Vietnam war. Ron was born to the late Bruno and Cecile Houle in Waterbury CT on September 10th, 1944.

He is survived by his children: Christine Smith of Chester NH; Daren Geddes and his wife Kismet of Portsmouth NH; Derek Geddes and his long-time friend Sharon Strong of Epping NH; Teresa Bulcroft and her Husband Tom Bulcroft of Farmington NH; his sister Janet Orozco and her husband Al Orozco of Waterbury CT;  his sisters-in-law Sandy Houle of Housatonic MA and Jeannette Byrne of Thousand Oaks CA; his long-time companion Betty Gaudet of New Mexico; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Barbara Houle, his daughter Tracy Geddes, and his brothers Armand and Dennis Houle.

Ron loved everyone and was loved by everyone for his gentle nature and good spirits. He loved his dog Miss Molly dearly. Ron enjoyed a long retirement and loved to watch You Tube videos on a variety of subjects including cooking, which he loved to do. He loved to visit with family and tell stories about his life and experiences.

His ashes will be laid to rest at the New Hampshire State Cemetery for Veterans in Boscawen, New Hampshire.
