Roland Seth Pike, age 88, of Main Street in Union, died October 26, 2012, at home.

Born July 11, 1924 in Milton Mills, a son of Ralph and Marion (Brieley) Pike, he was a graduate of Nute High School in Milton. A resident of Milton Mills for many years, he resided in Union since 1979.

Seth served with the United States Army during World War II, a Staff Sergeant.

A retired Garage Mechanic, he was employed with the former Laskey's Garage and with DiPrizio's Garage.

A member of Unity Lodge #62 F.&A.M. and Pleasant Valley Grange, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Carolyn (Drew) Pike and their grandchildren: Kimberly Horn and Michael Pallarino and their great grandchildren: Jesse Stacey, Meyer Stacey, Coalton Stacey, Wyatt Horn and Younger Horn. He was predeceased by his son Kevin Pike and his daughter Pamela Pallarino and two brothers: Franklin Pike and Roger Pike.

There are no calling hours, family and friends are welcome to a Graveside Service on
Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:00 am at Milton Mills Cemetery, with military honors by the United States Army.
