Roland W. Eaton, Jr., age 78, beloved husband and father, died Tuesday July 2, 2013 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born October 3, 1934 in Seabrook, NH, the son of Roland W. and Ruth (Bousley) Eaton, he was raised in Newburyport, MA. He resided in East Wakefield since 2001, having come from Seabrook.

He was retired from Bixby International.

Roland loved fishing, enjoyed playing cribbage and watching sports, he was an avid New England Patriots fan.

Survived by his wife of 60 years: Muriel J. (Bunker) Eaton and their 5 children: Roland W. "Butch" Eaton, III and wife Valerie Eaton, Susan Downs and fiancée William Perron, Donald W. Eaton and best friend Sandie Boulay, Cindy and husband Donald Andrews, Michael Eaton and fiancée Susan Sears, a brother: Randolph Eaton, 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter, also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother: Richard Eaton and 2 sisters: Ruth Cormier and Roberta Morrill.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Monday July 8, 2013 at 2:00pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville (Wakefield), NH.
