Roland "Red" Demers passed away Peacefully May 20, 2024 at Rochester Manor Rehab at the age of 84.
Red was a resident of Farmington and a 30 year veteran of the Navy. He passed away after a period of declining health.
It was his ardent wish that no service be held, so none will be held.
He leaves behind his brother George R. Demers & his wife Claire of Rochester. His son Glen T. Demers & his wife Shelly Hanson of Farmington with whom he was residing. His Daughter Hope M. Tramontozzi & her husband Mike of South Carolina. He also left behind the following nieces and nephews & their families: Lisa Dudley, Scott & Keith Demers, David & Michael Goodwin. He also leaves behind Al & Tommy Goodwin. The following Grand children: Kimberly Demers, Samantha & Zachary Hobbs. Red was predeceased by his son Anthony G. Demers of Milton Mills. He also left behind 3 extremely important people in his life (being almost family) Gracie Peacock, Charles "Uncle Mac" McAllister, and Donna Mosher.
Red will be cremated and it is the future plan that his remains be placed in the N.H. Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen and taken to a special place of his to be returned forever there.
Red is now at peace and will be sadly missed. Sleep well!
