Roger Carl Laskey, Jr., age 56, of Main Street in Somersworth, died October 3, 2011 at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover.



Born March 1, 1955 in Presque Isle, Maine, the son of Roger Carl Laskey, Sr. and Mildred L. (Hersom) Laskey, he grew up in Acton, Maine and was a graduate of Noble High School. He resided in Somersworth, NH for many years, having come from Berwick, Maine.



Prior to being disabled in 2006, he had worked for Great Falls Bleachery in Somersworth, Thompson Center Arms in Rochester and Somersworth Wood Heel.



A member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 69 of Somersworth, he was Boston Red Sox Fan and the New England Patriots, enjoyed watching wrestling and enjoyed family cookouts.



Survived by his mother Mildred Bradeen of Dover, his wife of 35 years: Donna M.(Papatola) Laskey and their son Chris D. Laskey, both of Somersworth, 2 daughters: Lori M.. and husband Richard Cavarretta of Dover and Nicole M. Laskey of Somersworth, 5 grandchildren, 2 sisters: Linda M. Hall and Tracy L. Garcia., also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, his step-mother: Beatrice Laskey and 2 step-brothers: Leo Lessard and Norman Lessard, 1 step-sister:Linda Winters.



Calling hours are Friday, October 7 from 12Noon-2:00 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a service at 2pm.
