Rocky Newton, age 54, of Ridge Road in Farmington, died  May 12, 2021 at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, after a two year battle with cancer.

Born September 23, 1966 in Rochester, a son of William and Jean (Whalen) Newton, he was a lifelong resident of Farmington and attended school there.

Rocky had been self employed with his brother Dennis as "Newton Builders".

He loved snowmobiling, building, mechanics and small engine repair.

Survived by his life partner Judy Emerson, his 2 children: Matthew S. Newton and Jenna Jean Newton, stepdaughter Stephanie N. Healey, granddaughter Emilee, 2 brothers: William and wife Sharon Newton, Dennis and wife Cindy Newton, grandmother Pauline Whalen Gardner, aunt Sharon Cardosi, 2 nieces:  Haleigh and Shanell.  Predeceased by his parents, brother Scott Newton and aunt Candace Whalen.
