Robert B. "Bob" Kaltenbach passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025 at home in Milton, NH. Born on August 11, 1956, in Bridgeport, CT, Bob lived a life marked by independence, resilience, and meaningful connections.
Bob received his early education at Fairfield Prep in Fairfield, CT and received his BA from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD.  These formative years laid the foundation for a diverse and entrepreneurial career first in the San Francisco, CA area, then in Greenwich, CT and finally in Milton, NH.  Throughout his professional life, Bob was a business owner in the fields of financial advice and hospitality. His work reflected a unique blend of analytical skill and people-centered service—qualities that allowed him to prosper with confidence and adaptability.
Bob is remembered with love by his sisters Mary J. Kaltenbach of Fremont, NH and Ann C. Martinelli of Thomaston, CT.   He also shared a close bond with his dear friend Kaline Torres and with his nephews Douglas Drenzek, Kevin Drenzek, and Nick Cloutier and his brothers-in law Robert Drenzek and Robert Martinelli. Bob was predeceased by his sister, Kathleen E. Drenzek, and his parents, Robert G. and Jacqueline A. Kaltenbach. He loved all his pets, past and present, and was undoubtedly greeted by all of them.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew Bob and peace to those who mourn his passing.  A celebration of Bob's life will be private.  His final arrangements are with Peaslee Funeral Home of Farmington, NH.
