Robert Burton Haskell, age 77, of Lovell Lake Road in Sanbornville, died September 11, 2018 at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro.
Born October 22, 1940 in Boston, Massachusetts, a son of Marshall and Winifred (Wahrer) Haskell, he was raised in Roslindale and Holbrook MA, resided in Braintree, MA for many years, he also resided in Epsom and Manchester, NH and resided in Sanbornville, NH since 2004.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Bob had worked as an Inspector with the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority. Also, he had driven a bus for Coast Transportation for many years. He and his wife enjoyed wintering at North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Bob enjoyed talking with anyone, a friendly fellow.
Survived by his wife of 44 years: Ruth G. (Liedtke) Haskell, their son Keith A. Haskell and wife Darlene, all of Sanbornville, 3 daughters: Sherrie Lynn Lamb and significant other Edward Gaudette of East Wakefield, NH, Carolyn L. Ashe of Brockton, MA, Deborah and husband Troy Ross of Wilmington, DE, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, a brother David Haskell of St. Paul, MN, 2 sisters: Winifred Haskell and Lillian White of Brockton, MA, also several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 11am at Lovell Lake Cemetery in Sanbornville, NH, with military honors by the United States Army. Cremation care by Peaslee Funeral Home.Graveside Service
