Robert Eugene Gelinas, 85, of Farmington passed peacefully August 20, 2018 at home surrounded by his children. He was a 27 year Veteran of the US Air Force and enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, gardening, and most of all spending time with his family. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.

Robert, or Gene as known to most, was fortunate to have found love twice in his life, predeceased by wife Gloria of 50 years and survived by Helen of 10 years.

He is survived by his son Robert Michael Gelinas and wife Susan, daughter Deborah and husband Kevin Carter, daughter Maria and husband Carlos Cardenas, and daughter Rosemary Gelinas and husband John Murphy; Grandchildren, Tiffany, Christopher, Phillip, Orry, Laura, Alex, and Emma; Great Grandchildren, Danica, Maleke, Sophia, Revin, and Carmen; Sister-in-Law Bea and husband Dave Tibbetts and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Wednesday evening from 5-7pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 10am at St. Peter's Church, 88 Central Street, Farmington, NH. Interment will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Rochester.
